Time Travel To Yayoi Era! Ancient Ruins With Full Of Historical RomanceYoshinogari Historical Park
At as large as 96.9ha site, you can experience the life in Yayoi era (4th century BC-3th century). The buildings and a sanctuary that royal families and people had lived are reconstructed. And the important cultural properties like you see on the schoolbooks are excavated one after another.
In Saga plains, the Yoshinogari Remains is the biggest moat settlements site in Japan. It was the pivot of Yayoi era resembling Yamataikoku Kingdom. This north retrenchment has Koguchi (gate) and Aiyokoya (equipment for attack), and reminds a castle after ages. Compared with other sites of Yayoi moat settlements, its thought of design is different kind.
