Hikone Castle has a relation with Ii family. It's hard to be invaded and easy to use, so we can find wisdom everywhere in the castle. The historical interior is also the highlight. Chikubu jima is an uninhabited island located in Lake Biwa. In such a small island, there're one of the national treasures, important cultural assets and even one of the only thee images of Benzaiten in Japan. Because of its geographical condition and the sacred sight, they say the whole of the island has a spiritual power to give visitors divine grace.
The sound of 1,500 glass wind chimes and the colorful wind chimes will make you feel cleansed. You can enjoy the wind chimes at Saikyoji until September 19th. On weekdays, there were relatively few worshipers, so I was able to spend a relaxing time.
